Every Burns Park Players production is a fundraiser. Ticket sales and donations become grants for music and arts programs across the Ann Arbor Public Schools.

In 2025, Burns Park Players donated $13,625 to 29 teachers across 18 schools — 47 individual grants of $150 to $500, reaching classrooms from elementary through high school.

Where the money goes

A snapshot of the programs our 2025 grants supported:

  • Huron High School

    Orchestra, printmaking, jewelry, ceramics, and marching band

  • Tappan Middle School

    Choir music, band supplies, and scripts for performing arts

  • Forsythe Middle School

    Choir accompanist support, props and costumes, percussion equipment, and band chamber music

  • A2 STEAM

    String instruments, visual arts supplies, and band equipment

  • Pathways to Success High School

    Video-production equipment and student mentorship

  • Ann Arbor Open School

    Band instruments

  • Elementary schools — Angell, Burns Park, Bryant, Carpenter, Eberwhite, Haisley, King, Lawton, Mitchell, Pittsfield, Scarlett, Thurston, and Wines
